LSB Horn Position Open

After serving two years with the Midland Odessa Symphony & Chorale, Co-Principal hornist Jeff Osboun has resigned to pursue musical opportunities in the Dallas area.

Jeff's departure leaves the Co-principal horn position as well as a position with the Lone Star Brass vacant. Anyone interested in auditioning for the position can find details here. The Co-principal horn will serve as the hornist with the Lone Star Brass in addition to playing with the Midland Odessa Symphony & Chorale.

I'd like to wish Jeff, his wife Bre, and their son Ean the best as they move forward, and wish them the best of luck in Houston!

Returning to Midland Odessa

I'm happy to report that I will be returning for my third season with the Midland Odessa Symphony & Chorale. The 2008-09 season promises to be a great one, with highlight being Stravinsky's Firebird Suite, Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherezade, and the second symphony of Johannes Brahms. I will also be returning to The Lone Star Brass and am looking forward to a great season.
